Our MDF is the only charitable organization exclusively dedicated to improving oral health in Manitoba and beyond.
How funds are raised: monthly, annual donations; special events;
in recognition of life cycle events; endowments and; planned giving.
Our History
The purpose and rationale for the establishment of the
Manitoba Dental Foundation (MDF) was discussed and proposed in the previous decades. In 2014 a commitment was made to prepare and submit the necessary documentation to secure its creation. In the Fall of 2015, the MDF was officially established and was granted a Charitable Registration Number.
As members of the Manitoba Dental Association, we have an intimate understanding and appreciation of the growing component of society that does not have access to oral health, and the negative consequences of poor oral health.
